Broccoli and sausage dish is a tasty and easy to prepare. This is a secondo from the South of Italy, which can also be eaten as a main course. Broccoli and sausage are two ingredients that go very well and are often served with pasta or pizza.
Ingredients for 4 people
- Pork sausages – 4
- Young shoots of broccoli – 800g
- Garlic – 2 cloves
- Extra virgin olive oil
- Chili Pepper
- Dry white wine
Preparation of broccoli and sausage
To prepare this recipe, use young broccoli sprouts. To clean them, sort them and let them soak in water for about ten minutes. Then cook in unsalted pot of boiling water for 10 minutes and drain. Broccoli must remain al dente.
Then, cut the sausages in half and fry them in a skillet over high heat. Let them brown for 5 minutes, then add the white wine and let it evaporate.
Meanwhile, in another pan, put in heating oil extra virgin olive with two whole garlic cloves. Once golden garlic, add the broccoli and 5 minutes after, sausages. Then add pepper, salt and pepper and cook for ten more minutes. Broccoli sausage are ready.
With the same recipe, but by cutting the sausage into slices, you can season pasta (orecchiette Solicitating or linguine) or garnish a pizza in the oven.
