Great Pizza: A Unique Twist on an Old Classic

Nowadays, one of the most popular, iconic foods known around the world is pizza. In fact, it might not be a stretch to say pizza is a staple of the American diet; the average American will eat 6,000 pieces of pizza during their lifetime, according to a new survey. Pizza is a big business!

However, sometimes people get tired of the traditional cheese and pepperoni pizzas. Some pizza lovers are game to try something more different and unique. From taco pizza to pizzas modeled after a dessert with fruit and icing, there are tons of unique takes on one of people’s favorite dishes. So, if you’re in the mood to try your pizza with a unique twist, this recipe has your back.

One unique-thinking amateur chef / mom, Tieghen, who runs a recipe blog has some extremely unique pizza idea, these ideas can easily be put into practice by any catering company that provides pizza. While recipe blogs are now all the rage, this is one of the most unique takes on pizza to be found anywhere. While the pizza is called Brown Butter Lobster and Spinach Pizza with Bacon & Fontina, it probably could just be called “There Won’t be Any Left-overs Pizza.” While some seafood lovers enjoy shrimp on pizza, this lobster and special cheese blend with bacon is a unique twist.

What gives this pizza so much pizzazz? According to the author of the recipe, there are a number of factors at play. Number one, the flavor of bacon can be so overpowering that it doesn’t work with many foods because one can’t taste both flavors, but that isn’t the case with lobster. These two meats complement each other very nicely, with the bacon just bringing out the flavor of the lobster very well. Another thing is that the lobster is lightly tossed in brown butter to give it an extra kick of deliciousness. Likewise, the spinach is actually really good with this combination meaning those who aren’t so crazy about leafy-green veggies will probably try this version! Likewise, this pizza is a cheese-lover’s dream containing a blend of three cheese: cheddar, parmesan, and fontina. Also, the pizza boasts its own homemade recipe for crust made just perfect to go with this specialty pie. See the latest from pizza caterers in Nottingham where some have been put into action.
