Ingredients for 4 people
- T55 wheat flour – 480 g
- Dehydrated yeast – 1 packet
- Extra virgin olive oil – 2 tablespoons
- Salt – 2 teaspoons
- Sugar – 1 tsp
- Warm water – 25 cl
Preparation of the Pizza House
In a bowl, first rehydrate the yeast in 8 ounces of water. Beat lightly with a fork to the dilute.
In a bowl, pour two tablespoons of olive oil, the remaining water, salt, sugar and flour. Then, add the yeast and gradually amalgamate fingertips. Continue until all the flour is coated and the dough is smooth.
Place the dough on a floured surface and knead for 15 minutes, until smooth and elastic mass. Shape into a ball and put it in a covered bowl with damp cloth. Let the dough rise in a dry place and away from drafts (in your oven for example).
After three hours passed, cut the ball in half and roll out the dough on your oven dish fingertips. With the dough you can make two large pizzas, 30 x 40 cm.
Garnish as you wish ( by advice) and add extra virgin olive oil. Preheat oven to 250 ° C and bake 10 minutes. Your pizza is ready to eat.
To trim, you can make red or white pizza. For red, spread a few tablespoons of tomato sauce seasoned beforehand and mozzarella. For white by contrast, just put the mozzarella and other ingredients. In some cases, for white pizzas, you can also cook pizza with mozzarella, before adding fresh ingredients (cherry tomatoes, arugula, prosciutto, parmesan etc …).
